Job summary

Stantec in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer to join our growing water sector team with hybrid working between office and home. The role involves leading on structural design for concrete, steel and masonry and supporting client relationships across the UK.

You will report to the Specialist Structural Engineering Technical Lead, develop our structural knowledge, and help expand capability across additional sectors while mentoring colleagues.

Qualifications

• Broad structural and civil engineering experience.
• Knowledge of construction and information needs of construction teams.
• Ability to coach and mentor others and develop technical capability.
• Experience leading on the delivery of high-quality projects across sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the delivery of high-quality structural engineering projects across concrete, steel and masonry structures.
• Carry out structural inspections and produce accurate reports defining requirements for asset maintenance and modification.
• Collaborate with clients across the UK and partner with other engineering disciplines to meet project objectives.
