Job summary

Brunning & Price Limited's The Mallard in Tidbury Green is recruiting a Senior Sous Chef to work with the Head Chef and help shape the kitchen culture as the pub reopens this Autumn 2026.

You will run the kitchen, drive new dishes, and lead the team, with basic up to £37,000 a year plus tronc and a £2,000 OTE bonus, paid overtime and excellent cash tips.

The package also includes free meals on shift, a 30% staff discount, Nest pension, life assurance and several wellbeing and progression benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering and hospitality at senior sous/senior kitchen manager level.
• Experience in restaurant, gastro pub or hotel environments.

Responsibilities

• Run the kitchen alongside the Head Chef.
• Drive the food culture and lead the kitchen team, ensuring engaging service with new dishes.
