Job summary

Gateway Hospitality Recruitment is seeking a Senior Sous Chef for a luxury hotel in the Cotswolds. You will assist the Head Chef in delivering all fresh food for the fine dining restaurant and deputise as required.

You should have worked to 2AA rosette level or higher in a quality 4- or 5-star setting and demonstrate confident leadership of a brigade. You will manage junior chefs, uphold exceptional standards, and ensure service runs smoothly across lunch and dinner shifts in a busy, high-end

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
• Proven ability to lead and deputise for Head Chef when required.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality, consistency and presentation.

As part of a talented brigade you will be assist the Head Chef in serving all fresh food for the fine dining restaurant. The Role

• Reporting to the Head Chef you will be assisted by junior chefs and Run Kitchen in his absence.
• Working in the kitchen using fresh and seasonal ingredients
• Preparing and plating meals for lunch and dinner service

The Person

• You will already be a Sous Chef in a luxury 4* or 5* Hotel or high end restaurant
• Able to work unsupervised and develop junior team members
• Have experience of working to 3AA rosette or Michelin level
• Good attention to detail
• Ambitious and career orientated
