Job summary

Gateway Hospitality Recruitment is recruiting a Junior Sous Chef for a refurbished country inn with rooms in the North Oxfordshire area of the Cotswolds. You will join a well-run business and cook high-end pub/restaurant food using locally sourced ingredients on a modern British menu.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you’ll work a 4-day week with three days off, and live-in is available but off site. Salary to £33k + £10k tips = £43k package.

Qualifications

• Currently a Chef de Partie looking to advance
• Able to work unsupervised and passionate about a kitchen career
• Experience in AA rosette standard kitchens
• Keen to learn and train with an award-winning chef

Responsibilities

• Report to the Head Chef and assist by junior chefs
• Work in the kitchen using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients
• Prepare meals for lunch and dinner service

The kitchen uses locally sourced produce and serves modern British Menu. The role will be cooking high end pub/restaurant food and is a 4 day week so 3 days off. Due to location you will need your own transport as live in is availabke but off site.

The Role
