Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence in London is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to own the technical lifecycle for strategic opportunities. You will lead demonstrations, proof-of-concept engagements and scoping, partnering with sales, product and services to deliver credible solutions.

You will communicate complex technical material to both technical and senior business audiences, advise on integrations and data workflows, and travel as needed to support customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical or customer-facing roles with SaaS products.
• Experience owning the technical elements of a customer lifecycle.
• Strong ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage priorities and deliver within timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical customer lifecycle from discovery to handover to services.
• Partner with sales to understand objectives, data requirements and workflows.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Communicate complex technical information to technical and executive audiences.
• Advise on configuration, data workflows, integrations and implementation.
• Collaborate with product, R&D, operations and services for accurate scoping.
• Share insights to improve efficiency and coach colleagues.
• Stay current on private markets, portfolio monitoring software and AI impact.
