Job summary

Pets at Home is seeking a Senior Software Development Business Analyst to join our Product team in a hybrid role at Handforth. You will shape and deliver digital solutions across our omnichannel Pet Care Platform, guiding analysts and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will lead discovery to delivery, translate complex requirements into stories, and mentor peers to strengthen our BA capability. This role supports multiple squads and embraces continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Significant BA experience including senior-level responsibilities.
• Experience in agile software delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work confidently with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience managing complex requirements and multiple workstreams.
• Collaborative mindset with coaching and continuous improvement.
• Nice-to-have BA or Agile certifications.

We're looking for a Senior Software Development Business Analyst to join our Product team and play a key role in shaping and delivering digital solutions across our omnichannel Pet Care Platform.

What you'll be doing

• Leading business analysis activities from discovery through to delivery


• Managing a team of Software BA


• Working closely with Product Owners, Developers, Testers, UX/UI teams and stakeholders


• Translating complex business requirements into user stories and actionable deliverables


• Supporting backlog prioritisation and agile delivery across multiple squads


• Identifying opportunities for improvement, innovation and business value


• Coaching and mentoring Business Analysts, championing best practice across the team


• Helping shape and strengthen our overall Business Analysis capability
