Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking a Site Manager to oversee construction on developments across the UK. You will ensure health and safety compliance, manage labour and materials, and drive quality through NHBC and building regulations adherence.

You will report to the Contracts Manager and work within a hybrid model, coordinating with sales, site teams and external partners to deliver high-quality homes on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience leading on large build programmes and sites.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and NHBC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction of developments to meet programme, quality and cost targets.
• Coordinate labour and trades to deliver on site efficiently.
• Monitor material levels and optimise stock on site.
• Ensure compliance with NHBC, Building Regulations and company standards.
• Lead toolbox talks and drive best practice on site.
