Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead construction on developments across the UK, including Leeds. You will ensure safety, quality and programme delivery, coordinating trades and materials while maintaining strong customer focus and site presentation.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will drive best practice, manage costs, and foster collaboration with NHBC inspections, internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality homes on time.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing build programmes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Member of CIOB or NVQ Level 5 in Construction Management.
• Knowledge of NHBC standards and Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site safety and quality per NHBC standards.
• Coordinate labour and resources to deliver the build programme.
• Manage materials and costs on site.
• Conduct plot inspections with Local Building Inspector or NHBC.
• Lead on site safety, training and development.
• Support sales through site meetings.
• Ensure high standards of site presentation.
• Oversee on-site team recruitment and resource planning.
