Job summary

Barratt Redrow PLC is seeking a Site Manager to lead the construction of developments across the UK, including brownfield and new builds. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will manage on-site health and safety, quality, cost and customer care to meet programme targets.

You will coordinate labour, materials and trades, ensure NHBC standards and Building Regulations are followed, conduct site inspections, and drive a culture of continuous improvement while delivering high-quality homes for

Qualifications

• Experience delivering against an established build programme.
• Ability to meet weekly targets through effective labour planning.
• Strong leadership and assertive delivery to high quality standards.
• Knowledge of NHBC Standards, Building Regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Customer-focused approach and clear communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction of developments, ensuring safety, quality and cost targets are met.
• Coordinate labour and materials to deliver the build programme and schedule trades.
• Monitor plots for NHBC compliance and rectify defects promptly.
• Approve contractor payments and manage cost of production.
• Lead plot inspections with Local Building Inspector or NHBC as required.
• Conduct toolbox talks and on-site briefings, and liaise with internal/external teams.
• Collaborate with Sales to ensure smooth handover and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high standard of site presentation and safety leadership.
