Job summary

Barratt Redrow is seeking a Site Manager to lead the construction of developments, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will coordinate trades, manage costs, and liaise with NHBC inspectors and customers to guarantee a high standard of build and service.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you’ll oversee pre- and post-housebuilding works, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement on site while upholding Barratt Redrow’s standards and values.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering to established build programmes and meeting weekly targets.
• Strong leadership and ability to organise labour to optimise delivery.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on compliance and quality.
• Proven ability to manage costs, resources and customer-focused outcomes.
• Knowledge of NHBC standards, Building Regulations and health & safety requirements.
• Experience dealing with customers and resolving issues at site level.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction of a development and associated works to meet health, safety, quality and cost targets.
• Coordinate labour and materials to deliver the build programme on time.
• Ensure plots meet NHBC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead toolbox talks, inspections and site briefings.
• Maintain high standard of site presentation and customer engagement during visits.
