Job summary

Barratt Redrow PLC is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the construction of developments across the UK, ensuring safety, programme delivery and quality. You will manage labour, material levels and on-site resources, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to uphold high standards.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, proactive problem solving and excellent communication to drive delivery of homes while maintaining cost control and compliance with NHBC and Building

Qualifications

• Experience delivering to established build programmes.
• Ability to manage labour and resources on site.
• Strong leadership and decision-making on site.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of NHBC standards and Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and processes on site.
• Coordinate labour and resources to deliver the build programme on larger developments.
• Control material levels to minimize stock while meeting the site programme.
• Ensure plots are built to high NHBC and regulatory quality standards.
• Direct quality control procedures and rectify defects to avoid delays.
• Monitor production costs and approve contractor payments as appropriate.
• Lead plot inspections with NHBC or Local Building Inspector and take corrective action.
• Deliver on-site briefings to promote best practice and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers and sales to ensure smooth delivery.
