Job summary

Capgemini Invent in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Service Designer to lead end-to-end service design workstreams for public sector clients, ensuring user-centered outcomes.

You will work within multidisciplinary teams, shaping services from ideation to delivery while contributing to business development and capability growth. A hybrid UK-wide role with flexible working is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience designing services and products.
• Proven experience leading a service design workstream with multiple clients or projects.
• Deep expertise with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards in public sector contexts.
• Experience facilitating workshops and design sprints.
• Experience working in an agile (scrum) environment in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Active SC (Security Check) Clearance.
• Ability to articulate work through artefacts and stories.
• Experience collaborating with legal or policy teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of service design workstreams on public sector client projects.
• Own the approach, outputs and outcomes across projects.
• Work independently within multidisciplinary teams to shape end-to-end services.
• Contribute to business development and growth of service design capability.
