Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking a Senior Service Advisor in Coalville to coordinate workshop activity, manage customer expectations and drive efficient service operations. You will be the key link between customers, technicians and management, handling bookings, communications and cost control.

The role requires strong customer service, vehicle knowledge and the ability to prioritise, with a focus on delivering quality service and achieving departmental KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior Service Advisor or similar workshop-facing role.
• Strong customer service experience in motor trade or commercial vehicle sector.
• Good technical knowledge of vehicles, servicing and repairs.
• Excellent communication and telephone skills.
• Strong organisational and administration abilities.
• Ability to manage customer expectations and work under pressure.
• Experience with job costing, invoicing and workshop data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workshop capacity and bookings to maximise utilisation.
• Take customer bookings and schedule inspections, servicing and repair.
• Act as main contact between customers and workshop; ensure clear requirements.
• Monitor jobs to meet agreed timescales and costs; obtain approvals as needed.
• Ensure accurate job cards, repair orders, parts, labour and testing.
• Coordinate parts and subcontract work; support invoicing and costs.
