About the role

The Senior Security Culture Analyst is a pivotal role in fostering a culture of security awareness within HL. You will lead the design and delivery of engagement strategies to effectively educate and empower our colleagues, leveraging data insights to improve our security risk culture and reduce inherent risks.

What you'll be doing
  • Research and analyse external and internal triggers to help inform the security culture programme.
  • Keep up to date on latest trends on security culture related topics and approaches, such as attitudes and engagement.
  • Lead the design and delivery of engagement strategies to maximise engagement based on research and colleague demographics.
  • Develop and maintain targeted campaigns to effectively engage and educate different colleague groups, to address inherent risks and leveraging insights to shape future initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive plans to educate colleagues about Information Security, including our Information Security roadshow and Security Champions Network.
  • Lead and develop an information security awareness and training program.
  • Lead and develop a schedule of sophisticated phishing campaigns that mirror real-world scenarios to enhance colleagues' ability to identify threats. Use this to identify trends, weak points, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide an informed estimate of the resources, time and costs needed to nurture security aware behaviours and protect the organisation.
About you
  • Proven experience in developing and executing security culture and awareness programs.
  • Passionate about promoting security awareness and empowering colleagues to adopt secure behaviours.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for tailoring messages to diverse audiences.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt in a rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.
  • Strong project management abilities to oversee multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience with a range of digital software and solutions that would enhance the components of our security culture programme.
  • Have a security qualification in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related qualification e.g. Communications
  • Experience of working in a Financial Services environment (desirable).
Interview process

This role will be a two-stage interview process, consisting of an introductory conversation and a competency/behavioural based interview with presentation task.

Working Schedule

We are based in Bristol, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you the option of working from home and coming into the office.
