Immunocore is seeking a Senior Scientist I - Characterisation within its CMC team in Oxford. The role focuses on developing and applying LC-MS/MS and intact mass analyses to characterise biologics, including glycosylation profiling and post-translational modifications.

You will contribute to the development of analytical methods for ImmTAX and related products, write study protocols, and communicate results to senior management and partners.

Formación

• Experience in development of HPLC-based peptide mapping methods and MS characterisation of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Experience glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Independently coordinated extensive testing of protein biomolecules.
• Knowledge of proteins expressed in microbial and mammalian systems.
• Understanding of post-translational modifications in biological systems.
• Bench-based biopharmaceutical laboratory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Characterise biologics using LC-MS/MS and intact mass analysis.
• Develop characterisation methods for biopharmaceutical products, including peptide mapping.
• Contribute to writing study protocols and reports.
• Mentor colleagues and share scientific knowledge across the department.
• Present findings to internal teams and external partners.
• Ensure records are up to date and maintained to correct standards.
