Immunocore is seeking a Senior Scientist I - Characterisation to advance biopharmaceutical characterisation programs. You will conduct peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS), intact mass analysis and glycosylation studies on recombinant proteins and antibodies, supporting both process development and analytical method development.

Formación

• Essential: HPLC-based peptide mapping methods and MS-based characterisation of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Essential: Glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Independently coordinated extensive testing of protein biomolecules.
• Characterisation of proteins expressed in microbial & mammalian systems.
• Understanding expected post-translational modifications in biology.
• Bench-based biopharmaceutical laboratory experience.
• Recognised expertise in electrophoretic, chromatographic or MS techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and characterise biopharmaceuticals, including peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS) and intact mass analysis.
• Design and perform biochemical characterisation, chemical stability and comparability studies of biologics/drug products.
• Contribute to study protocols and reports; mentor others and share knowledge.
• Lead testing efforts, prioritise work, and drive efficiency across the team.
• Present findings to internal and external audiences; support cross-functional collaboration.
