Job summary

Immunocore in Oxford is seeking a Senior Scientist I focused on characterisation for CMC. You will drive peptide mapping, intact mass analysis, and glycosylation studies of biologics and monoclonal antibodies, leveraging HPLC and LC-MS/MS techniques.

Qualifications

• Essential: Experience in development of HPLC based peptide mapping methods and MS characterisation of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Essential: Glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Essential: Independently coordinated extensive testing of protein biomolecules.
• Essential: Characterisation of proteins expressed in microbial and mammalian systems.
• Essential: Understanding of expected post-translational modifications in biological systems.
• Essential: Bench-based biopharmaceutical lab experience.
• Expert in electrophoretic, chromatographic or mass spectrometry techniques.

Responsibilities

• Characterise drug substances and products using peptide mapping and MS methods.
• Contribute to development of characterisation methods for biopharmaceutical products.
• Design and perform biochemical characterisation, stability and comparability studies.
