Job summary

The Environment Agency Pension Fund (EAPF) is seeking an experienced investment professional to help keep the Fund at the forefront of responsible investment and deliver a sustainability-led Investment Strategy. The role oversees LPPI and reports to the Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee, with travel to Bristol, London and overseas.

You will have a strong background in asset allocation, responsible investing, climate science and natural capital, plus knowledge of the LGPS and

Qualifications

• Experience with investing across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of responsible investment and impact investing.
• Knowledge of LGPS pooling and pension fund operations.
• Excellent communication skills for committees and public engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to the Fund's strategic investment direction.
• Identify green growth opportunities with LPPI.
• Monitor and oversee investments in public and private markets.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Report progress to Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.
