Job summary

The Environment Agency Pension Fund (EAPF) seeks an experienced investment professional to keep the Fund at the forefront of responsible investing and to deliver a sustainability-led Investment Strategy.

You will line manage one Investment Analyst while coordinating with LPPI, reporting to the Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee, with travel to Bristol and London as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of investing across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of responsible investment and impact investing.
• Strong understanding of climate science and natural capital, and its relevance for investing.
• Knowledge of the LGPS and pooling.
• Excellent communication skills are vital and you’ll represent the Fund in meetings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LPPI to deliver the Fund’s Investment Strategy.
• Identify and discuss green growth opportunities with LPPI.
• Monitor investments in public and private markets.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Provide assurance on LPPI through partnership working and reporting to committees.
• Travel to Bristol, London and overseas as required.
