Job summary

Environment Agency Pension Fund (EAPF) seeks an experienced investment professional to help keep the Fund at the forefront of responsible investing. The role reports to the Pensions Team and involves overseeing LPPI's work to implement the Fund’s Strategic Asset Allocation, with responsibility for climate and biodiversity considerations.

The team is based in Bristol, with flexible working and travel to Bristol, London and overseas.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of investing across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of responsible investment and impact investing.
• Knowledge of climate science and natural capital related to investing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LPPI to ensure delivery of the Investment Strategy.
• Identify and discuss green growth opportunities with LPPI.
• Monitor investments in public and private markets.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Provide assurance on LPPI through partnership working.
• Report progress to Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.
• Respond to enquiries from members, media and the public.
• Network across the finance community and represent the Fund publicly.
