Job summary

The Environment Agency Pension Fund (EAPF) is looking for an Investment Analyst to help keep the Fund at the forefront of responsible investment and to deliver our sustainability-led Investment Strategy. You will oversee LPPI activities and contribute to the Fund’s strategic asset allocation across public and private markets.

Based in Bristol with flexible location options, you will engage with members, committees and external partners to strengthen governance, communicate investment decisions

Qualifications

• Experience in investing across asset classes and understanding of diverse markets.
• Strong grasp of responsible/impact investing and climate-related financial risks.
• Knowledge of LGPS pooling arrangements and public pension fund governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to the Fund's strategic investment direction.
• Identify green growth opportunities with LPPI and monitor investments in public and private markets.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Provide assurance on LPPI work through partnership arrangements.
• Report progress to Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.
• Respond to enquires from members, media and public regarding our approach to investment.
• Network across the finance community and represent the EAPF in meetings and public engagements.
