Job summary

The Environment Agency Pension Fund seeks an Investment Analyst to help lead the Fund in responsible, climate-aware investing. You will monitor public and private markets, assess biodiversity and climate impacts, and coordinate with LPPI to implement the Fund’s Strategic Asset Allocation.

The role demands stakeholder engagement across committees, staff, and external partners. We value investment expertise, a numerical degree, and qualifications or willingness to gain investment credentials.

Qualifications

• Experience investing across asset classes with a broad market view.
• Strong understanding of responsible investment and impact investing.
• Knowledge of climate science and natural capital and its relevance for investing.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to the strategic direction of the Fund’s investment approach.
• Identify and discuss green growth opportunities with LPPI.
• Monitor investments in public and private markets and report findings.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Oversee LPPI’s work and report progress to Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.
• Represent the Fund in meetings with partners and at public forums.
