Job summary

Environment Agency Pension Fund (EAPF) seeks an Investment Analyst to help oversee its investment strategy and its pooling partner LPPI. You will monitor public and private markets, assess climate and biodiversity impacts, and report to governance bodies.

The role emphasizes responsible investing and active engagement with stakeholders. The team is based in Bristol with flexible working arrangements and travel to key locations.

Qualifications

• Experience investing across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of responsible investment and impact investing.
• Knowledge of climate science and natural capital in investing.
• Knowledge of LGPS and pooling practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to the Fund's strategic investment direction.
• Identify green growth opportunities with LPPI.
• Monitor and oversee investments in public and private markets.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Provide assurance on LPPI work through partnership and governance.
• Report progress to Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.
• Respond to member, media and public enquiries about investment approach.
• Network across the finance community and speak publicly on fund matters.
