Job summary

Environment Agency Pension Fund is recruiting an Investment Analyst to help oversee the Fund's investment strategy and support responsible investment.

You will work with LPPI as the pooling partner, monitor investments across public and private markets, and contribute to climate and biodiversity assessments.

The team sits in Strategy, Transformation and Assurance; flexible working and travel to Bristol, London and overseas are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience investing across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of responsible and impact investing.
• Knowledge of climate science and natural capital and its relevance to investing.
• Knowledge of the LGPS and pooling.

Responsibilities

• Identify and discuss green growth opportunities with LPPI.
• Monitor and oversight of all investments across public and private markets.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Provide input to the strategic direction of the Fund’s investment approach.
• Provide assurance on the work of LPPI through bilateral and joint partnership working.
• Report progress to the Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.
• Respond to member, media and public enquiries on our approach to investment.
• Network across the finance community and represent the EAPF in meetings.
