Job summary

The Environment Agency Pension Fund is seeking an Investment Analyst to help keep the Fund at the forefront of responsible investment and implementation of the sustainability‑led Investment Strategy. You will work with LPPI and the Fund’s committees to monitor investments across asset classes and report on progress.

You will engage with members, the public and external partners, providing clear updates and contributing to the Fund’s long‑term funding and governance objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience investing across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of responsible investment and impact investing.
• Knowledge of climate science and natural capital in investing.
• Familiarity with LGPS pooling.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LPPI's work to deliver the Fund’s Investment Strategy.
• Identify green growth opportunities with LPPI.
• Monitor investments in public and private markets.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts.
• Report progress to Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.
• Respond to member, media and public enquiries on our approach to investment.
• Represent the Fund at meetings and public speaking commitments.
• Travel to Bristol, London, and potentially overseas.
