Job summary

The Environment Agency Pension Fund (EAPF) is seeking an experienced Investment professional to help keep the Fund at the forefront of responsible investment and deliver our sustainability-led Investment Strategy.

The role will oversee the pooling partner LPPI and provide input to strategic direction across public and private markets. You will line manage one Investment Analyst and engage with members, committees and external partners to communicate progress and investment approach.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of investing across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of responsible investment and impact investing.
• Strong understanding of climate science and natural capital, and its relevance for investing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the pooling partner LPPI to deliver the Investment Strategy.
• Identify green growth opportunities and monitor investments in public and private markets.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Provide assurance on LPPI via partnership work and reporting to Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.
• Line manage one Investment Analyst and support team communications.
