Job summary

DEPT® is seeking a strategic Resource Manager to join the EMEA resourcing team, focusing on Experience & Engineering across DACH regions. You will optimize utilization, balance project needs, and plan ahead with the Commercial team to align with the business pipeline.

A strong background in digital delivery and stakeholder advisory will be essential. You’ll collaborate with Delivery, Sales, Operations and Craft Leads to ensure staffing plans meet project demands while maintaining team wellbeing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Resource Management, Engineering Resource Management, or Technical/Digital Project Management within a digital agency or product environment.
• Experience working across multiple markets and cultures (EMEA experience is a plus).
• Business-level English required.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full resourcing lifecycle for a pool of ~100 FTE across Experience & Engineering requests.
• Evaluate capacity, utilization, and bandwidth to optimize allocation, balancing business needs with team wellbeing.
• Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Finance and Operations during project intake to build staffing plans.
• Develop and maintain accurate short- and long-term demand forecasts.
• Identify skill gaps and workforce needs, partnering with Craft Leads and People & Culture on hiring and training.
• Coordinate resourcing across EMEA, including nearshore and offshore teams.
• Identify and onboard freelancers or external partners when internal capacity is unavailable.
• Provide regular insights to local, regional, and global leadership.
