Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Power System Studies Engineer in the UK. The role focuses on offshore wind grid studies, load flow, harmonics and FRT analyses across multiple UK sites including Glasgow.

You will prepare reports, engage with clients and lead technical studies for projects from Pre-FEED to Detailed Design. You will mentor junior staff, contribute to RFP responses and deliver specialized training.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with relevant industrial experience.
• Chartered Engineer status or pursuing accreditation.
• Experience in offshore wind grid studies at Pre-FEED/FEED/Detailed Design stages.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grid code compliance and load flow/short-circuit studies.
• Prepare study reports and respond to RFPs with man-hour estimations.
• Mentor juniors and deliver training on expert topics.
