Job summary

Howells Recruitment is recruiting an Operations Manager for refurbishment projects based in Birmingham. The role leads teams across roofing and external works on high-rise blocks, with project values around £20m+ and a focus on delivering on time and within budget.

You will manage Project Managers, Site Managers, and subcontractors, driving profitability and quality while expanding into a regional portfolio. West Midlands travel is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading refurbishment projects on high-rise blocks.
• SMSTS & NVQ Level 6 or equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee teams delivering refurbishment projects within budget and schedule.
• Lead contracts and manage Project Managers, Site Managers, Resident Liaison Officers and subcontractors.
• Travel across the West Midlands to deliver projects.
• Drive profitability and manage variations/extra works.
