Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Telecoms Engineer to lead design delivery across a portfolio of rail telecoms projects, from feasibility to handback, and to support bids with fee estimates and proposal content. You will work within multi-discipline design teams, coordinate interfaces with the wider project, present designs to clients and stakeholders, and contribute to staff training and development.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading telecoms and control systems design through design and construction.
• Experience on UK rail projects (Network Rail/HS2/TfL) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of railway safety, CDM and Safe by Design principles.
• Chartered membership and professional body affiliation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design delivery across a portfolio of telecoms rail projects.
• Support bids by developing fee estimates and proposal content.
• Produce telecoms system designs from feasibility to handback.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams and interface with the wider project.
• Present designs to clients and stakeholders.
• Line manage team members and support training.
