Job summary

WSP is seeking a Track Engineer to lead technical delivery within the Rail Engineering Services team across the UK & Ireland. The role involves time in London offices and travel to projects nationwide and overseas, leading design coordination and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to development design processes, and support major rail projects while upholding health, safety and welfare on site.

Qualifications

• Strong track engineering background with experience across design and lifecycle phases.
• Experience delivering projects to standards including Network Rail and EuroNorms.
• Chartered or Incorporated registration with a relevant engineering institution.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery as Lead Designer or Integration role.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to develop engineering solutions.
• Mentor and support development of junior engineers within the track team.
• Support major UK, Ireland and international projects including East West Rail, Northern Powerhouse Rail and Dublin Metrolink.
