Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a senior Telecoms design lead to shape and deliver telecoms design across rail projects. You will work within multi-disciplinary teams, driving design quality from feasibility to handback and coordinating with project stakeholders globally.

The role requires proven leadership, rail telecoms expertise, and the ability to deliver complex designs on time. You will join a collaborative, growth-oriented practice with flexible UK-wide office opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in project and technical leadership.
• Experience leading telecoms design through the entire design and construction cycle UK/overseas.
• Knowledge of design and integration of multiple telecom subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of telecoms system designs across design stages from feasibility to handback.
• Manage interfaces with wider project team and communicate telecom requirements.
• Present designs to clients and stakeholders, illustrating concepts and solutions.
• Line manage team members and support training and development.
• Support bids and prepare fee estimates and proposal content.
• Oversee design delivery across a portfolio of projects.
