Amey Consulting in the UK is seeking a Principal Engineer (OLE) to lead technical teams on major rail projects across Birmingham and nationwide. You will guide design, calculations, and documentation, manage budgets, and act as engineering lead on Network Rail schemes.

The role offers hybrid working, mentoring, chartership support, and a comprehensive benefits package, including pension and flexible benefits, with opportunities to influence safety, risk management, and project delivery.

Competenze

• Senior Engineer level experience or equivalent.
• Capable of leading technical teams and managing safety, quality, and budgets.
• Familiar with CDM regulations and risk assessment.
• Experience on Network Rail schemes preferred.
• Chartered status or professional licence preferred.

• Lead and supervise technical teams across projects.
• Prepare and check designs, calculations, drawings and deliverables.
