Amey is seeking a Principal OLE Engineer to join its Rail Consulting team in the UK. You will lead technical design, coordinate multi-disciplinary groups, and contribute to bids across major rail programmes.

Qualifications

• High level experience in rail engineering or equivalent senior role.
• Ability to lead technical design teams across disciplines.
• Proven track record in delivering compliant, safe and cost-effective solutions.
• Demonstrates people management and bid/proposal leadership.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical team leader guiding engineers, managers, clients and suppliers.
• Lead preparation and checking of designs, calculations, drawings and documentation.
• Manage budgets and control costs for deliverables and projects.
• Liaise with client/supplier representatives and lead bid preparation.
• Drive health and safety practices within the team.
