Job summary

Cumming Group is a leading international project and cost management consultancy specialising in construction, real estate and infrastructure. We are expanding our CG FM&CS team in Milton Keynes and seek ambitious professionals to deliver high-quality commercial management across public and private sector projects.

Ideal candidates hold MRICS or equivalent, with 5+ years’ experience in cost management, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Ideally degree qualified: construction, cost management, engineering, quantity surveying or other RICS accredited degree.
• MRICS or equivalent qualification or experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in construction cost management.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT/NEC).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong IT skills: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with main contractor environments.
• Ability to lead and manage teams including the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver budget estimates, cost plans and client reports.
• Provide risk and value management.
• Contract administration including valuations, forecasts and cost reports.
• Prepare bills of quantities and schedules of rates.
• Ensure timely delivery of outputs to high quality standards.
• Manage work delivery and performance of personnel.
• Comply with Health & Safety and Quality Assurance procedures.
• Support bid/tender preparation and business development.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to growth.
