CG FM&CS specialises in providing commercial and operational support to contractors in public sector environments, delivering pre- and post-contract management, programmes, cost and value reporting, and change control.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction, cost management, engineering or quantity surveying; MRICS preferred.
• MRICS or equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience.
• Experience working for a main contractor is desirable.
• 5+ years of experience in project delivery and cost management.
• Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day delivery responsibility for projects with minimal supervision.
• Strengthen service delivery and promote knowledge sharing and innovation.
• Prepare budgets, cost plans and client reports.
• Provide risk and value management.
• Administer contracts including valuations and forecasts.
• Prepare bills of quantities and schedules of rates.
• Ensure outputs are accurate and timely to a high standard.
• Mentor and coach team members to support growth and delivery goals.
• Support bid, tender and business development activities.
