Job summary

Siemens Mobility UKI is seeking Senior Quantity Surveyors to support major rail and infrastructure programmes across the UK. Roles are hybrid, with at least three days per week in the office, and involve delivering commercial excellence for diverse projects with HS2, Network Rail and TfL.

You’ll lead cost management for work packages, provide contractual and commercial support to project teams, and maintain auditable records.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline and/or working towards or holding RICS/CICES.
• Experience within rail, engineering, defence, construction, IT or a similar project-based industry.
• Experience working on complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across the region.

Responsibilities

• Manage change control and financial performance of projects.
• Provide commercial interface for work packages.
• Forecast, budget and control costs for work packages.
• Maintain auditable records and contract compliance.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, project management, engineering and finance.
