Job summary

Siemens Mobility UKI is hiring Quantity Surveyors to support major rail and infrastructure programmes across the UK. The roles require hybrid working with a minimum of three days in the office and will involve commercial leadership on multidisciplinary projects with clients such as HS2, Network Rail and Transport for London.

You will manage change control, provide commercial interfaces for work packages, forecast costs, and report on financial performance while collaborating with project teams,

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
• Working towards or holding a professional qualification such as RICS or CICES.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with cost forecasting, measuring completed work and managing change and variations.

Responsibilities

• Manage project and work package change control.
• Provide commercial interface for responsible work packages.
• Provide contractual & commercial support to Project team.
• Experience of work package cost management, including forecasting, budget management and control.
• Experience of work package risks and opportunities.
• Establish and maintain leadership interfaces with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, project management, engineering, and finance teams.
