Job summary

Siemens Mobility UKI is seeking Quantity Surveyors to support major rail and infrastructure programmes across the UK in a hybrid working setup. You will be responsible for commercial interfaces on work packages, cost forecasting, budgeting and reporting.

The role requires collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful commercial delivery. We welcome candidates with rail or engineering project experience, a degree in a relevant field, and ongoing membership

Qualifications

• Experience in rail, engineering or similar project-based industry.
• Experience on complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Membership or progression toward RICS/CICES is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial interface for work packages and projects.
• Support cost management, forecasting, budgeting, and variations.
• Maintain auditable records and contract administration.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, project management, and finance teams.
• Deliver regular commercial reports and track risks & opportunities.
• Ensure aligns with contractual requirements and governance.
