Qualifikationen

• You will have a solid background as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Experience managing procurement to final account; CVRs and cost to complete reports are important.
• You should understand construction contracts, measurement, and procurement, and manage risks.
• Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying; CIOB or RICS accreditation is advantageous though not essential.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Aufgaben

• You will take commercial responsibility for allocated construction projects, ensuring costs are controlled and margins protected.
• You will manage procurement schedules, appoint subcontractors, place orders, and negotiate variations.
• You will be responsible for valuations, monitoring cash flow, producing CVRs and Cost to Complete reports, and updating senior management on performance.
• Identify commercial risks and address issues before profitability is affected.
• Attend subcontractor meetings and manage contractual documentation; ensure proper valuations and payments.
• Maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors to keep projects progressing commercially.
• Support junior members of the commercial team and collaborate with Senior Quantity Surveyors and operations.
