Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor in construction with strong commercial management.
• Able to manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations, forecasting, cost reporting and final accounts.
• Skilled in managing commercial risks and protecting project margins.
• Experience working with Contracts Managers, Project Managers and clients.
• Willing to mentor junior quantity surveyors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the commercial performance of multiple projects, controlling costs and margins.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, place orders and monitor expenditure.
• Prepare forecasts and commercial reports for senior management.
• Identify commercial risks and manage variations with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with operations to maintain strong client and supply chain relationships.
• Support junior commercial staff to develop their knowledge.
