Rogers McHugh Recruitment is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of construction projects in the BN44 area. You will manage procurement, subcontractors, valuations, variations and cost reporting to protect margins and drive profitability.

Reporting to the commercial lead, you will mentor junior surveyors, partner with operational teams and deliver regular project performance updates to senior management.

Formación

• Solid background as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience managing the commercial aspects of projects from procurement through to final account.
• Confident managing subcontractor packages, valuations, variations, cost reporting, forecasting and project profitability.
• Understand how to protect margins and identify commercial risks while ensuring projects perform to budget.

Responsabilidades

• Take commercial responsibility for construction projects, working with operational teams to ensure profitable delivery.
• Manage procurement, appoint subcontractors, place orders and negotiate variations with clients and suppliers.
• Oversee valuations, cost reporting, forecasting and monitor financial performance of projects.
• Provide leadership to junior QS colleagues and support wider commercial team development.
