Job summary

Rogers McHugh is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of commercial management across several industrial and commercial projects in the South East, with the role based from Stevenage. You will manage procurement, valuations, variations and cost reporting, ensuring projects stay financially controlled.

A Quantity Surveying degree and around 10 years' experience, plus familiarity with JCT contracts, are essential.

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveying related degree is required.
• Around 10 years of industry experience.
• Good understanding of JCT contracts and subcontracts.
• Experience managing procurement, subcontractor management, valuations, variations, forecasting and cost reporting.
• Experience handling multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for multiple South East projects.
• Manage procurement and subcontract packages and deal with valuations and variations.
• Monitor project costs and produce accurate forecasts and cost reports.
• Ensure the commercial position is properly managed throughout each project's lifecycle.
• Collaborate with operational teams, subcontractors and clients.
