Job summary

Rogers McHugh is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to own commercial management on refurbishment and heritage projects. You will prepare estimates, cost plans and value reconciliations, and lead commercial reporting to protect margins.

The role is largely office-based with site visits, reporting to the Commercial Director, and an emphasis on precise cost control and clear communication with clients and site teams.

Qualifications

• You have prepared estimates for tenders and carried projects commercially through award.
• You can build costs from first principles using rates, quotes and overhead/profit marks.
• You can produce bills of quantities, interim valuations and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• You will own the commercial management of projects from tender to final account.
• You will prepare estimates, check scope and reflect contract terms in pricing.
• You will manage interim valuations, variations, orders and reconciliations.
• You will spot risk early and guide the team to protect the business.
