Job summary

CCL Facades, part of Caddick Construction Group, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a major Leeds project. You will manage project costs, subcontract accounts and contractual matters from procurement through to final account, protecting the project’s commercial position and supporting profitable delivery.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will prepare budgets, cost plans and forecasts, measure and value work, and negotiate terms with subcontractors to ensure timely, on-budget

Qualifications

• Proven contractor-side QS experience, preferably façades or specialist subcontracting.
• Strong measurement, subcontract procurement, valuation, variation and final-account experience.
• Working knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts and payment procedures.
• Experience preparing CVRs, forecasts and commercial reports; strong negotiation skills.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, cost plans, forecasts and monthly CVRs.
• Procure subcontract packages, assess tenders and negotiate commercial terms.
• Measure and value completed work, prepare payment applications, and assess subcontractor valuations.
• Identify, price, submit and agree variations, compensation events and contractual claims.
• Manage subcontract accounts, payment notices, cash flow and final account settlement.
• Advise the project team on cost, risk, value engineering and contract compliance.
