Job summary

Façade Contractors Ltd. in the North of England is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on façade and building envelope projects across the UK. You will manage contract value from award through final account, ensuring profitability and compliance.

The role requires strong negotiation, multi-project coordination and experience with JCT/NEC contracts on projects ranging £1m–£20m+. A competitive package accompanies this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in façade/building envelope sectors.
• Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract.
• Experience managing projects valued £1m–£20m+.
• Excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of façade and cladding projects from contract award to final account.
• Prepare, review and negotiate subcontract agreements.
• Produce accurate cost reports, forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Value completed works and submit applications for payment.
• Manage variations, change control and compensation events.
• Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review contract documentation for contractual compliance.
• Liaise with project managers, design teams, clients and subcontractors.
• Lead final account negotiations to secure profitability.
