Job summary

Facades Talent Group, working with an established façades contractor in London, is recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

This role involves managing the commercial aspects of multiple façade projects from pre-construction through final account, with responsibilities including budgets, valuations, variations and client relationships. Experience in rainscreen, curtain walling, SFS, render or re-cladding is highly advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within façades, cladding, building envelope or a related construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial aspects of multiple façade projects.
• Preparing and managing project budgets and forecasts.
• Subcontractor procurement and management.
• Preparing valuations, applications and payment notices.
• Managing variations, changes and contractual matters.
• Monitoring project costs and financial performance.
• Preparing and agreeing final accounts.
• Managing client and subcontractor relationships.
• Supporting the pre-construction and tendering process.
• Reviewing specifications, drawings and project documentation.
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
• Working closely with project and site teams to maximise project profitability.
