Job summary

Caddick Group is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a major façades project. You will manage project costs, CVRs, forecasts and final accounts, ensuring commercial integrity from procurement through to final account.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will lead subcontract procurement, measure completed work, value variations and advise on value engineering and contract compliance on site in the UK.

Qualifications

• Contractor-side Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in façades or specialist subcontracting.
• Strong measurement, subcontract procurement, valuation, variation and final-account experience.
• Working knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts, payment procedures and construction law.
• Confident preparing CVRs, forecasts and commercial reports, with strong negotiation skills.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project budgets, cost plans, forecasts and monthly CVRs.
• Procure subcontract packages, assess tenders and negotiate commercial terms.
• Measure and value completed work, prepare payment applications, and assess subcontractor valuations.
• Identify, price, submit and agree variations, compensation events and contractual claims.
• Manage subcontract accounts, payment notices, cash flow and final account settlement.
• Advise the project team on cost, risk, value engineering and contract compliance.
