Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the East Hyde STW Growth Project team based in East Hyde, Bedfordshire. The role oversees commercial delivery, leading a multidisciplinary team and ensuring robust commercial controls throughout the project lifecycle.

The position requires experience in procurement, contract management and mentoring, with a focus on delivering value while maintaining compliance and strong reporting. 45 hours per week with some flexibility.

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our East Hyde STW Project team based in East Hyde, Bedfordshire.

Location: East Hyde, Luton

Hours: 45 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will lead the commercial delivery of key work packages across the East Hyde STW Growth Project. This is an exciting opportunity to influence commercial strategy as the project progresses through detailed design, ensuring robust commercial controls are implemented throughout. You'll provide leadership to the commercial team while maintaining ownership of project delivery within a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.

• Leading procurement activities including tender evaluation, recommendation and subcontract award

• Providing leadership, support and mentoring to Quantity Surveyors within the project team
• Managing project change, risk and opportunity while ensuring contractual compliance

• You hold a relevant academic qualification in a construction related degree
• You hold a Full driving licence
• You have prior experience working in a commercial role for a contractor
