Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the East Hyde STW Growth Project team based in East Hyde, Bedfordshire. The role oversees commercial delivery, leading a multidisciplinary team and ensuring robust commercial controls throughout the project lifecycle.

The position requires experience in procurement, contract management and mentoring, with a focus on delivering value while maintaining compliance and strong reporting. 45 hours per week with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Construction degree required
• Experience in commercial roles for a contractor
• Experience with various contract forms
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities including tender evaluation, recommendation and subcontract award
• Administer subcontract accounts, valuations, change events and final accounts
• Provide leadership and mentoring to Quantity Surveyors within the project team
• Manage project change, risk and opportunity with contractual compliance
• Contribute to commercial reporting including CVR, forecasting and cashflow management
